Instant Access to CA StateTraining Fund

Funding is provided by State of California’s Employment Development Department. California employers pay $7.00 as Employment Training Tax for each employee. In 2019 -2020 more than $100M is available for businesses creating new jobs or retraining current workers. The Employment Training Panel (ETP), a division of the Employment Development Department, operates the grant program.

Offset Training Costs

The State of California provides Training Fund to priority industry companies, including healthcare facilities.

Current employees and newly-hired employees

are eligible to participate in this Training Program.

SB 97

With the passage of SB 97, the Skilled Nursing Facilities must expand their workforce and begin hiring and training new hires to meet the new compliance standards.
